Philip John Kenneth James (born June 30, 1978) is a British entrepreneur living in New York. He is the founder of Snooth, a comparison shopping internet site for wine.

Philip James founded Snooth in November 2006, prior to that he was Executive Vice President at The Wine Messenger (an online retailer of Wine). He graduated from Oxford University in 1999 with a Masters in Chemistry and Columbia Business School in 2005 with his MBA. In addition he holds the Certified Specialist of Wine from the Society of Wine Educators.
Philip climbed Mount Everest in 2003 and played a role in the high altitude rescue of Conan Harrod from Everest's North Face.
